"I had been with State Farm since I was 16 years old. I am now 58. I've been with many agents over the years, but for the past 15 or so, I was with Jeff Evans. I've never spoken to Jeff, he won't return calls or emails. He will pass any requests along to his staff, which is often slow to respond. When we bought a house this past December, the first person I called was Jeff Evans. Nobody in his office got back to me for nearly two weeks. By then, I had to go with someone else. Not long after, we dropped the renters insurance, but kept two auto policies with full coverage. Somehow, our rates went up significantly. When I asked why, all I got back was "we're already giving you the discounts you're entitled to". Keep in mind with all these years with State Farm, I have no moving violations on either vehicle and only 2 claims in 42 years, both of which did not find me at fault. Finally, the last straw was when I got a quote from a competing company, it was about half of what State Farm was charging, for the same coverage. When I told the agent I was cancelling after 42 years, not a single question, not a thank you for your business, nothing other than "Ok, we'll update your account". I fail to understand the positive reviews of this agent, or State Farm in general."

"I am Traveling in North Carolina from June thru mid-October and realized my automobile policies were due and when logging in saw two other policies were past due. On Sat 8/19/2023 I went on-line and paid the Umbrella ($605 ) however on Monday the bank did not show the payment deducted. I called the Jeff Evans office and spoke with MS Linda Ostrosky, who was extremely courteous and helpful in getting me straightened out and up to date with all policies. Linda was very patient with me and very thorough in going over everything and making sure we had it correct. I promise to do better. "I have been with Jeff Evans State Farm for about 30 years. My parents started with them when they first opened. My daughter now has her insurance through them. They are great I always get any questions I have answered within a timely manner. My bills are always easy to read and never go up unless of course they have a rate increase but that’s expected with anything. I would recommend this company to any and everyone. Give them a shot you won’t be disappointed."

"Shelley Weaver was fantastic. We were in a bit of a crunch after FrontLine dropped us after a $6,000 claim due to a broken water line. Shelley worked quickly and diligently to get us the best coverage from a new company. "I was a member here for over 4 years and when I changed addresses I was not made aware this would greatly increase my payments to almost double what I was paying. After attempting to contact this agency for weeks (yes I know there was a hurricane...because this was the agents excuse...but that doesn't mean you cannot return/send an email) I called ANOTHER 2 times because my payment was due and the woman that I finally got ahold of had an attitude with me. I explained that this was a huge price increase and she did not even attempt to help me with ways I could save on my policy (safe drivers app, cutting UIM, etc). Very disappointed. Thankfully I found a different State Farm agent that was willing to help."
"Sorry Jaime when you change addresses the rates are based on zip code. It’s customary that we notify customer when we change the address in our office vs online but we don’t always get asked to quote the new rate unless asked. Yes the two Hurricanes kept all insurance offices busy in areas hit the hardest as we were so we are sorry if you did not get responses as quickly as you should have. We’re happy you were able to transfer to an agent closer to your new location."
